This was the discipline that gave rise to our organization, based on our experience in studies and designs of infrastructure projects, including sanitary landfills, earth and concrete dams, tunnels, bridges, and mass transportation systems, among others.
We have also developed urban studies for buildings, following the seismic-resistant standards in Colombia and incorporating the concept of independent morphodynamic units (UMI), from Metropolitan Agreement 09 of 2012, which applies to studies in the Metropolitan Area of the Aburrá Valley. Additionally, we interpret the results of foundation load tests.
We are characterized by our interpretation of various sources of information about the terrain, including those obtained through our exploration, laboratory, geophysics, and instrumentation services.
We stand out for our ability to diagnose complex geotechnical problems, as well as for the construction design of the solution to this type of problem.
From the earliest stages of projects, we contribute to site recognition by identifying the geological processes that have generated materials and lithologies, structures, and geological dynamics, in search of optimizing the location of works and defining measures for their proper and lasting operation, minimizing risks associated with geohazards.
We have experience in structural design and consulting activities in projects such as bridges, public and private buildings, all types of retaining structures, structural components of hydroelectric power plants, fluid retention tanks, environmental structures, etc. We also offer instrumentation services, estimate thresholds for early warning systems, and structural monitoring. We develop structural pathology studies, including diagnosis activities, structural sampling, vulnerability assessment, and design of structural reinforcement or repowering. We also design load tests.

We have extensive experience in the evaluation of the water resource within the framework of infrastructure projects' development, through the execution of hydrological and hydraulic studies, scour studies, numerical modeling of channels and hydraulic structures, we evaluate the threat, vulnerability, and risk of floods and flash floods, design protection and restoration works of channels, drainage systems, conduct studies and designs for channel occupation procedures before environmental entities and corporations. We evaluate the impact of climate change on infrastructure projects and design works for the mitigation and control of the risk associated with the water resource.
